232nd Regular Meeting (4 Aug 2018) Report

  1. TMOD TM N.N.

(1) TM E.I.

232nd Regular Meeting (4 Aug 2018) Report

  1. TMOD TM N.N.

Despite of his bad condition, the handling of the meeting was that of an expert. The smooth progress made a fulfilling meeting.

  1. Word of the Day TM H.S.

It was a little difficult word “ochanokosaisai,” but I was impressed to hear the explanation about its word history.

  1. Prepared Speeches (English)

(1) TM E.I.

It was a friendly speech introducing the best of her hometown in four seasons. PowerPoint slides were also carefully prepared. The picture was beautiful.

(2) TM R.M.

The content reminded us of her contest speech. There was a delicate balance between eye contact, body language, vocal variety and everything. Her skill of making the audience laugh after a long pause, was truly impressive.

  1. Prepared Speeches (Japanese)

(1) TM K.O.

A nice and slow speech with her calm atmosphere. Body language was used effectively, and the content was easy to easy to follow for the audience.

(2) TM D.H.

With the title “date,” an honest speech hit the audience’s heart by talking about his own romantic feelings. I hope his wish would be fulfilled soon!

  1. Table Topics (Impromptu speeches) Master TM S.I.

“You are now in the middle of the typhoon. Please broadcast it as an announcer.” was an interesting speech topic. The speech content was not predictable from the topic, but four speakers including a guest were trying hard to answer it.
