The 3rd meeting of this month held on 30th was mystically our 330th meeting!
We had a special guest TM YT who kindly delivered a speech as our prepared speaker. He talked about marketing concepts around our behaviour with his interesting story of when he becomes an early adopter.
The evaluator was TM YS, who gave a thorough feedback to help complete TM YT’s Evaluation and Feedback project.
Our newly joined member TM HO energetically took a double role of Word of the Day and Table Topics Master to try a new approach of the table topics session. The word of the day was incorporated into all the questions for table topics, and each speaker had no reason to miss the word to use in a speech.
This approach enabled us to organise a consistent meeting in terms of the topic. When we try something new, we discover something good. That’s why having a new member is always stimulating!
Playing a double role gives you lots of opportunities to grow. TM MK took the General Evaluator role plus Grammarian. Both roles require you to pay attention to the whole meeting but she managed to fulfil them with no trouble. Gained experience will be another confidence!
This meeting with our familiar face of TM TO back after a while ended on time thanks to TM SM’s effective meeting management as TMOD.
We will have our next meeting on 6th August 14:00-15:30, which will be in Japanese.
