After a refreshing Golden Week, club members gathered at Aoyama Life Learning Hall and hosted another successful meeting. We were delighted to welcome two new guests who also participated in our table topics session.
Our Toastmaster of the Day was our trusted Sergeant at Arms, TM O who conducted a very well structured meeting and with excellent time management. TM M took the double role as grammarian and ah counter as a few veteran club members were not able to join today.
We had one speaker, TM S who delivered a speech about club officer roles in Toastmasters and shared his experience in taking an officer role (also a reminder that we will be holding our club officer elections soon, how exciting!). TM N took the evaluator role for the first time and did an amazing job in providing thorough and constructive feedback.
The highlight of the meeting was without a doubt the table topics session where we had 8 speakers! We had some excellent prompts and we also used Gum Talk ガムトークto answer some interesting questions! Our guest who was attending a Toastmasters meeting for the first time was voted the best table topics speaker, congratulations!
After another great meeting, members enjoyed a casual chat and pizza at the usual place.
