Despite the blistering heat of early July, our 412th meeting was filled with energy and enthusiasm as we welcomed six guests. TM Is took on the role of Toastmaster of the Day for the first time and led the meeting smoothly. TM Ya joined us remotely all the way from Nara. The meeting began on a high note with the induction of TM Sh as an official club member—congratulations!

TM Kip led the Good & New segment, inviting participants to share something positive or new from the past 24 hours. This quick exchange, a cherished club tradition, lifted everyone’s spirits and set a cheerful tone for the meeting.
TM A from Super Kids Toastmasters delivered a technical speech with remarkable clarity and ease. Her speech, titled What Makes You, explored how our behaviors define who we are by deconstructing them in various contexts. She skillfully utilized the entire stage and responded to audience questions with confidence and precision. Watching her speak so assuredly was truly inspiring—it gave us a glimpse into the bright potential of the next generation.

Stepping up as Table Topics Master, TM Ro engaged the audience with creative questions such as “What’s your summer business idea?” and “The strangest mode of transportation you’ve used while traveling.” After the votes were counted, TM St and TM Ma emerged in a tie for Best Table Topics Speaker. TM St shared a unique business idea—a frosty neck ring that not only cools you down in the blistering summer heat but also tells cold jokes to enhance the chill! TM Ma, on the other hand, recounted his memorable experience of riding a camel, using vivid gestures and lively descriptions that brought the scene to life.

TM Ra delivered a detailed feedback on the prepared speech. TM T demonstrated impeccable timekeeping, TM It tracked filler words and TM Kis gave a grammarian report about standout expressions, and TM Ai and TM Ma monitored our Word-of-the-Day usage. Finally, General Evaluator TM De applauded the unsung heroes.
