The Omotesando Bilingual Toastmasters Club recently celebrated a special milestone with its 369th meeting, which was uniquely a joint session with the Nakano Toastmaster Club. We kicked off the meeting with the “Good and New” session, inviting both members and guests to share uplifting personal news and experiences.The highlight of the joint meeting was the speech session, featuring four engaging speakers. Toastmaster M led the way with a humorous and visually engaging presentation on the “Buzzwords of 2023,” delightfully weaving her personal episodes with trending Japanese terms to reflect on 2023. Following her, TM I from Nakano Toastmasters delivered an inspirational talk, sharing personal experiences that resonated with Toastmasters. TM Y from Omotesando Bilingual Club shared her journey of self-reliance and the satisfaction of fixing things independently and our last speaker, TM N from Nakano Toastmaster Club concluded the session with a well-researched topic perfect for the holiday spirit.The entire meeting flowed smoothly and was filled with a vibrant energy, making the joint session with Nakano Toastmasters a memorable and enjoyable experience.
