テーブルトピックスは、とても趣向が凝らされたお題が提供されました。前に話した人の最後の言葉を引用して新しいストーリーを作ったり、時節柄、七夕にちなんだ即興スピーチが披露されるなどして、盛り上がりました。また、話す内容に合った服装を心がけることに関してアドバイスがありました。スピーチは完璧でも、服装によって雰囲気が台無しになったり、聴衆の気が散ってしまうようでは残念です。伝えたい気持ちをより一層相手に届けるために、服装にも少し気を使ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
In the table topics sessions, well thought-out topics were provided by topic masters. We got lively by making impromptu speeches with using the last word which was appeared in a speech given by a prior speaker, or by speaking stories which were related to Tanabata as a seasonable topic. It was advised that we are to be mindful of suitable clothes for a story or messages we speak. Even if we make a speech perfectly, if the atmosphere is spoiled or audience’s attention is distracted by speaker’s clothes, that is really unfortunate. To deliver what you want to communicate much more, why don’t you concern a little more with your dress?
